Based on a highly original 'discretised hull form concept' mapping the volumetric properties of the hull, tanks and compartments on a 3-dimensional hydrostatic grid with draft, trim and heel as the axes.
Vessel equilibrium is computed from the hydrostatic grid by solving the force (vertical) and moment (longitudinal and transverse) balance.
Free surface effects inside the tanks accounted by either virtual free surface moments or real wedge shift moments.
This computation Methodology permits fast processing of highly complex computation of damage stability conditions as well.
